Terms of service

SoulGain is a Minecraft server operated independently. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

You do not need an account to buy anything. You give the Minecraft username the purchase should be delivered to, and you pay. That username is what the order is recorded against, so if you type someone else's by mistake the goods go to them — check it before you pay.

Our payment provider handles the receipt and holds the email address you give it. We are not able to move a delivered purchase from one username to another.

You need an account with a working email address to post on the forums or submit a companion request. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so use a password you don't use anywhere else.

We will email account holders about changes to prices and to these terms. Those messages are part of running the service and are not marketing, so you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account.

Cheating, harassment, hate speech, griefing builds that aren't yours, and advertising other servers all get you removed. Staff decisions can be appealed once, through the Support forum.

Everything in the store is a cosmetic, a convenience, or a contribution to the companion fund. Purchases grant a licence to use in-game content on this server; they are not property and they do not transfer if the server closes.

Prices are in US dollars and are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Submitting a request does not guarantee it gets built. Staff can dismiss any request, and will tell you why and what to change.

Once a build enters production the deposit stops being refundable, because at that point the design and programming work has been paid for.

You keep the rights to any concept art you upload. By submitting a request you give us permission to build, display and use the resulting in-game asset on this server.

We will give at least 14 days' notice by email before changes to these terms take effect. Continuing to use the server after that counts as accepting them.
